Provisioning time depends on the type of server and on whether this is your first order with us. The clock starts once your payment has been credited — see How can I pay my invoice? for how long each payment method takes.

Virtual servers

A virtual server is provisioned automatically and is normally ready within 15 minutes of the invoice being paid.

If this is your first order with us, we first verify the order details manually. This check is completed within one business day, after which the server is provisioned as usual. We may contact you by ticket if anything needs clarifying, so please keep an eye on your client area.

Dedicated servers

A dedicated server takes 1 to 4 business days. The server has to be assembled, installed and configured, which is why it takes longer than a virtual one.

Occasionally the process is delayed while we wait for components to be delivered. If that happens with your order, we will let you know in a ticket.

If the time has passed

First check in your client area that the invoice is shown as paid — with bank transfers in particular, provisioning only starts once the funds have actually reached us. If the invoice is paid and the time above has passed, open a ticket and we will check what is holding the order up.
