There is no standard trial period, but a trial can be arranged for virtual servers on request. Whether we can offer one depends on the project.
How to request a trial
Open a ticket and tell us about your project — what you intend to run on the server, roughly what resources you expect to need, and why a trial would help you decide. The more concrete your description, the easier it is for us to say yes.
We will also ask you for:
- your contact details;
- confirmation of your identity.
These are needed because a trial server is a real server with full access to our network, and we have to know who is using it.
Dedicated servers
No trial period is available for dedicated servers. Each machine is assembled and configured individually, which makes a trial impractical.
If you want to test how your project behaves on our infrastructure before committing to a dedicated server, a virtual server is usually the sensible way to start.
If you are not sure which configuration suits your project, describe it in a ticket and we will suggest a suitable option.
