The table below shows our prices for Microsoft licences, which are provided under our own Microsoft SPLA agreement. Licences are rented on a monthly basis and billed together with your server. Earlier years are shown for comparison.

Windows Server: price by core count
Windows Server is licensed per core, in packs of two cores, and all cores of the server have to be licensed. The current price is 8,45 € per month for 2 cores, with a minimum of 8 cores per processor.

If your server has a core count that is not listed, tell us its configuration and we will confirm the exact monthly amount before anything is ordered. The other licences are per user and do not depend on the core count.
Ordering licences
Licences are added to an existing server. Open a ticket with our Sales or Billing department, stating which licences you need and for which server, and we will add them to your service and adjust your next invoice.

Prices are set by Microsoft and are reviewed periodically. We are happy to advise on how to keep licensing costs down — if you are not sure which licences your setup requires, describe what you plan to run on the server and we will suggest the most economical option.
