You may host any content on a server rented from us that is not prohibited by German law and does not breach the rules set out below.
What is prohibited
- hosting viruses, exploits or botnets, or redirects to them;
- sending spam in any form;
- any activity that may lead to our servers' IP addresses being blocked or added to blocklists such as SpamHaus, StopForumSpam or SpamCop;
- hosting scripts that scan networks or websites in order to find vulnerabilities, guess passwords, gain unauthorised access and so on;
- hosting fraudulent websites, or sites distributing or promoting narcotics, weapons, or material containing the sexualised depiction of minors.
Adult content
Adult content is permitted, provided that visitors are asked to confirm their age before entering the site and that German law is not breached.
Content that affects other clients
We take a dim view of any activity that interferes with other clients — for example hosting sites that are frequently subjected to heavy attacks. In such cases we may have to suspend the site temporarily. This is not a penalty: it protects the other clients sharing the same infrastructure.
Complaints and suspension
We act on substantiated complaints relating to copyright infringement and pass them on to the client for resolution.
Accounts are suspended only in extreme cases and, as a rule, with prior warning. Depending on the situation, we normally allow 1–2 days to resolve the problem, though this period may be shorter where the server poses a threat to other systems.

If you are not sure whether your project fits within these rules, describe it in a ticket before ordering — it is far easier to clarify this in advance than to deal with a complaint later.
