You can give a colleague access to your client area with their own login, and decide exactly what they are allowed to do.

Inviting a user

  1. Log in to your client area.
  2. Click Hello, [your name]! in the top right corner and select User Management.
  3. In the Invite New User section, enter the person's email address.
  4. Choose All Permissions, or select Choose Permissions to grant only specific rights.
  5. Click Send Invite.

The person receives an email invitation. If they already have an account with us, they will use their existing login credentials to access yours; if not, they can create their own. Either way their password is theirs alone — you never need to share yours.

Managing existing users

Everyone with access to your account is listed at the top of the User Management page, together with the time of their last login. For each user you can:

  • Manage Permissions — change what they are allowed to do;
  • Remove Access — revoke their access to your account.

The account owner always has full permissions and cannot have them restricted.

Which permissions to grant

We recommend granting only what the person's role requires rather than choosing All Permissions by default. Typical cases:

  • An accountant — invoices and payments, without access to servers.
  • An administrator or developer — products, services and support tickets, without access to billing.
  • A deputy — All Permissions, for someone who has to be able to act in your absence.

Permissions can be extended at any time through Manage Permissions, so starting with the minimum costs you nothing.

Users and contacts are not the same thing

A user has their own login and can work in your client area. A contact, added under Contacts, only receives selected notifications by email — for example invoices — and cannot log in. If a colleague simply needs to receive copies of invoices, add them as a contact rather than as a user.

Removing access

When someone leaves your company, use Remove Access straight away. As long as the user remains on the list, they can log in and see your services.

If you have questions about access rights, open a ticket from your client area.
