No. Backup Stor is intended for private storage — files, backups and archives — and may not be used as public storage for a website.

Why not

Backup Stor is connected over file protocols such as SMB/CIFS and FTP/FTPS, not over HTTP. It is designed to be mounted by your own server or workstation, not to serve content directly to visitors of a website. It is storage, not a content delivery service, and it is neither built nor priced for that kind of load.

What to do instead

Images and other files that need to be visible on your website should be placed on the server hosting the site itself. If your site generates a large volume of static content, the usual solution is a dedicated content delivery service, which is designed for exactly this purpose.

Backup Stor remains the right place for what it is meant for: backups, archives, files shared within your team, and anything you want kept but do not need to publish.

If you are not sure how best to organise storage for your project, describe your situation in a ticket and we will suggest a suitable option.
